Reed and Sophia Brasseux recently obtained a dismissal with prejudice in a wrongful death case for a hospital in Virginia several months before the trial date. The matter involved the alleged failure by the hospital to appropriately staff its emergency department and to provide appropriate care and treatment of a two-year-old who presented with flu-like symptoms.
