Legal Alert – Tort Reform in Alabama: Dram Shop Liability

ABOUT THIS ALERT

Alabama has long had a strict liability scheme for dram shop cases. In the last two weeks, the legislature turned that scheme on its head, making it more difficult to prosecute dram shop cases and easing access to liquor liability insurance.
