Anne Umberger named 2024 USLAW NETWORK Bill Burns Award recipient

USLAW NETWORK names Anne M. Umberger, director, associate general counsel at Nordstrom, Inc., the 2024 USLAW NETWORK Bill Burns Award recipient. USLAW created the award to annually recognize a client who has shown outstanding service and dedication to USLAW. The award is named after Bill Burns, a longtime transportation risk management and litigation leader for Landstar System, a Jacksonville, Florida-based transportation company.

“We are delighted to recognize Anne Umberger as the 2024 Bill Burns Award recipient,” said Oscar J. Cabanas, immediate past USLAW Chair from Wicker Smith in Miami. “Anne has been a longstanding client within the NETWORK and an active client advisor within the USLAW Retail and Hospitality Practice Group. She regularly shares her knowledge and insights as a facilitator of numerous USLAW programs and through her experiences with USLAW and our many resources, she introduces other legal decision-makers to the NETWORK and helps amplify USLAW’s benefits.”

The award was presented during the Fall 2024 USLAW NETWORK Client Conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
