William M. Davis

Since 2006, I have defended businesses and professionals against a variety of contract and tort claims including commercial trucking/transportation, professional negligence, premises liability, industrial accidents, products liability, catastrophic accidents, contractual obligations and insurance coverage. I've found professional joy in learning about my clients' businesses and helping them develop strategies to reduce litigation risk, particularly in the areas of motor carrier transportation and premises (apartment/retail) management. After all, the best defense for any client is avoiding litigation in the first place. I enjoy public speaking and give numerous presentations each year for organizations such as the National Business Institute on a variety of topics in litigation and risk management. I also host a YouTube channel where I provide advice for public speaking. Outside the office, I serve on the Board of Directors the Theta Xi Fraternity as a volunteer officer. I am also an active participant in the Transportation Lawyers Association where I serve as Chairman of the Technology Committee. I am also involved with the Defense Research Institute. When the work is done, I enjoy cycling, running and swimming. I'm also a cinephile and audiophile and love discussing movies, music and home theaters when I'm not otherwise laughing and enjoying life with my wife, Maggie, who is the funniest person I have ever met.
