Tamara Goorevitz is a principal with the law firm of Franklin & Prokopik, P.C. in Baltimore, Maryland. Tamara’s practice emphasizes trucking and transportation law, including defense of liability and insurance coverage actions for motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and/or their insurers, and the litigation of freight charge and freight loss and damage claims. Her civil litigation practice also includes general liability defense including motor tort, premises liability, product liability, employer liability and employment discrimination. Tamara served as chair of USLAW’s Transportation Practice Group from 2018-2020 and currently serves on USLAW’s Executive Committee. She also served as chair of DRI’s Trucking Law Committee from 2012 – 2014, and served as program chair for DRI’s 2010 Trucking Law Seminar. Tamara is also an active member of Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) and Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA), where she served on the board and as chair of the Logistics and E-Commerce Committee.
