Shannon has significant experience representing the firm's litigation clients against individual and class action claims. Her work concerns defense of product manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, and premises owners in personal injury and defective product/premises litigation. In addition, she provides advice and litigation defense on matters involving product and food labeling claims, organic labeling issues under COPA, and Proposition 65 claims. Shannon also maintains a real estate litigation practice, specifically litigating eminent domain actions for both public and private clients. She has represented both condemnors and condemnees, and has experience serving as an advisor and trial lawyer for all aspects of the condemnation process. This includes planning and preparing for board actions, early resolution and negotiations of right of way and use agreements, selection and preparation of experts to motions for prejudgment possession, and trial on just compensation.
