After growing up in California, I went to Cornell and got my undergraduate degree in English. I worked for a few years at Stennis Space Center in southern Mississippi and then headed to law school. Before graduation, I met Greg Copeland and, upon receiving an offer of employment from him, joined Copeland Cook Taylor & Bush in 1999.
Since then, I have worked almost exclusively for insurance companies (and the occasional insured), with my work ranging from coverage to claims to bad faith. I have also had the pleasure of drafting insurance policies.
My work in the insurance industry has led me to represent insurers and other clients in employment-related matters and appellate proceedings.
