Peter T. DeMasters

Pete DeMasters has been practicing law for more than 25 years and is the managing member of Flaherty's Morgantown office. His practice areas focus on transportation and construction litigation. He has extensive experience litigating matters before courts of record in West Virginia and the American Arbitration Association. Pete represents owners, drivers and brokers in transportation matters. In construction matters, Pete has represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in multimillion-dollar construction projects. He has achieved Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards, is a member of the Defense Research Institute's (D.R.I.) Transportations and Construction Law Subcommittees, a member of TIDA and TLA. Pete has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2016 for Construction Law and Professional Liability.
