Peter J. Smith

Peter Smith’s practice is primarily devoted to litigation and arbitration of construction disputes in New Jersey and New York. He became a partner of Connell Foley in 1989. Mr. Smith has been a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Construction Industry Panel of Arbitrators since 1995. In 1999, Mr. Smith was selected by the American Arbitration Association to serve on its New Jersey Public Sector Panel of Mediators and Arbitrators. He has served on variety of construction industry arbitration panels, deciding claims involving major public and quasi-public construction projects and surety matters. Mr. Smith was appointed to the New Jersey Construction Advisory Council of the American Arbitration Association in 2006.
