I am a construction and surety law attorney in Raleigh, North Carolina with over twenty years of experience serving the needs of general contractors, construction managers, owner/developers, surety companies, specialty subcontractors, and suppliers. I am a member in good standing with the North Carolina and Massachusetts state bar associations and am licensed to practice in all state and federal trial courts in both states.

I seek to expand my construction and surety practice and to assist those confronting legal issues in their business dealings. I am experienced in prosecuting and defending lien, bond, payment, change order, differing site conditions, delay, inefficiency, defect, products liability, and professional malpractice claims in connection with the construction industry. I also consult with clients in drafting and negotiating construction contracts and provide counseling during projects in an effort to avoid, resolve, or mitigate claims.

Significant discovery, negotiation, trial, appellate, and alternative dispute resolution experience.
