J. Ryan Perkins

Ryan Perkins, whose practice spans over 22 years, serves as firm president, equity shareholder and Management Committee member of Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush, P.A., at its home office in Ridgeland, Mississippi, with two additional offices strategically located across the state. Ryan's practice focuses on the defense of premises liability litigation, product liability litigation, automobile and trucking litigation, construction defect litigation claims and general injury defense. He is also experienced in drafting insurance coverage opinions and in defending declaratory judgments and bad faith actions. Ryan's representative clients are both domestic and international. Ryan serves as local Mississippi counsel for several national clients in retail, insurance and construction matters, as well as for an international retail pharmacy chain in opioid litigation. His clients include businesses, individuals, contractors and their insurers. Ryan has been Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent Rated since 2011. From 2022 through the present, he has been honored by Mid-South Super Lawyers as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in the State of Mississippi.
