Guy Mercogliano

Guy Mercogliano is a Shareholder of Sweeney & Sheehan, P.C. and a member of its Executive Committee. Guy has defended numerous cases involving catastrophic loss, burn injuries, brain injury, paralysis and death. He has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including construction accidents, product liability, fire loss, premises and security liability, dram shop liability, commercial vehicle accidents and property loss. Guy has also litigated many cases involving coverage and contractual disputes. He is AV peer rated ® Preeminent and is a member of numerous defense-oriented organizations including DRI and PDI. He has lectured extensively on a variety of litigation and insurance-related topics and has been an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). Guy also frequently serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and was a Director on the Board of USLAW.

Guy graduated from the University of Scranton with Honors in 1980 and received his JD from Villanova University School of Law in 1983.
