Charles Carr is a 1977 graduate of the University of Alabama Law School where he was a member of the Alabama Law Review, Order of the Coif, and was a Dean M. Leigh Harrison Scholar, which recognizes the top 5% of the law school's graduating class. Charles is the president and a shareholder of Carr Allison, a defense litigation-oriented firm with offices in five cities in Alabama and in Gulfport, Mississippi
Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Florida, and Tallahassee, Florida. Charles has litigated and/or served as excess national counsel in complex multi-million dollar exposure cases in over 27 states. He has spoken at numerous national seminars on the progression and control of the multi-million dollar verdicts using a unique early resolution program called "Blink. During the last 10 years, Charles has coordinated the successful resolution of over 60 cases involving catastrophic injuries (burns, multiple deaths and paraplegia) in over 22 states throughout the United States. He serves as national counsel for Swift Transportation Company, one of America's largest motor carriers. He and his firm are founding members of the USLAW NETWORK, and he has served as the Chair of USLAW.
