B. Trey Sandoval

“Trey” Bernabe G. Sandoval, III is a trial attorney in the litigation section of MehaffyWeber. He joined the firm as an associate in 2005 in the Houston office, and became a shareholder in 2010. His primary practice areas include products and premises liability, construction defect, trucking litigation, and insurance defense. Trey graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Christianity and received a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake in 2000. He then attended the South Texas College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the Board of Advocates, received the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts II and Federal Income Tax, and was the 2004 Gallagher, Lewis, Downey & Kim Intramural Mock Trial Competition Champion. He has been selected for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers List by Thomson Reuters every year since 2016 and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Construction Law (2024-2025), Litigation- Insurance (2025), and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants (2024-2025).
