Agnes Antonian is the Chair of Connell Foley’s Environmental Law Group. Drawing upon an extensive scientific and legal background, Agnes has a unique and highly sought-after perspective on New Jersey’s most complicated environmental matters. She counsels clients on a variety of environmental litigation and land use issues, and other complex business litigation. Currently Agnes serves as outside environmental counsel to a major utility in connection with the country’s largest Superfund site - the $1.4 billion EPA-ordered cleanup of the Passaic River in New Jersey. She is also counsel to the Special Master in the enforcement of one of the largest ever court-ordered environmental cleanups in the country. Agnes has significant trial experience in both federal and state court cases, as well as private costs-recovery litigation and alternative dispute resolutions. She graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, and received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
