NOW ACCEPTING TOPIC IDEAS FOR 2025
We are currently seeking articles/topics for the March and June 2025 issues. See below for specific details for submitting article ideas. If you have any questions about any of this, please contact Connie Wilson.
HOW TO SUBMIT ARTICLE IDEAS
If you have an article idea (please remember to focus topics on the client audience), please send the following content for consideration to Connie Wilson. Once we have all article submissions, we will review to ensure no duplication of topics, and then we will notify you if your topic is approved.
Please send the following information in the body of an email or in a WORD file.
- Is this for March or June 2025?
- Name of author(s)/Firm
- Working title
- A very brief overview of the topic
- Target client audience
- Applicable practice area
- Is this original content (Y/N)?
When considering topics, think about what your clients are asking you about or what you and your colleagues are discussing. If it is a trending and relevant topic for the client audience, please submit the idea for consideration. For the March digital-only issue, we can consider previously published content as long as the topic and content are still relevant, and we have permission to re-publish it in USLAW Magazine.
ARTICLE SPECS
If approved, the following parameters must be met:
- Article length: 1500 words MAX (minimum 1200 words)
- Provided to USLAW as a Word file.
- Please provide a brief bio (limited to 50 words per author). Please include the short bio(s) at the end of the article.
- Provide a high-resolution headshot photo (2″ x 3″ at 300 dpi) for each author.
- Articles must be written in business (not legal) style – no footnotes, or please limit footnotes and citations. Please contact me if you have questions about this.
- Write for a broad business audience – GCs, VPs/directors of HR, risk managers, insurance execs and claims adjustors, CEOs, etc. Please do NOT write solely for lawyers.
