USLAW names Ed Hochuli the 2024 O’Hagan-Carr Award recipient

USLAW NETWORK names Edward G. Hochuli, past chair of USLAW NETWORK and a founding partner of Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, USLAW’s Arizona member firm, as the 2024 O’Hagan-Carr Award recipient. The award is named after Jim O’Hagan and Charles Carr, co-founding members of USLAW, and is given annually by the USLAW Chair to a USLAW member(s) who demonstrates outstanding service and commitment to the organization’s guiding principles, mission, and objectives.

“Since USLAW’s early days, Ed (Hochuli) has been a leader in the courtroom as well as with business development, client service and NETWORK expansion; he has helped shape the path for USLAW,” said Oscar J. Cabanas, immediate past USLAW Chair from Wicker Smith in Miami. “Ed served as chair of USLAW, facilitator of countless programming sessions, including the original 5-minute drill, and always raised a hand to help where needed. We are thrilled to present Ed with the 2024 O’Hagan-Carr Award to recognize his longstanding commitment to USLAW.”

Hochuli, also nationally known as a National Football League Referee, personally tried over 150 civil jury trials to verdict in his 30+ year career, during which he was one of the most experienced trial lawyers in Arizona.
