Sean is an experienced litigator and employment lawyer, advising both businesses and individuals. Prior to rejoining Kelly Santini in 2021, Sean served as Director of Litigation & Employment to a publicly listed corporation, providing proactive advice aimed at preventing disputes from occurring and appearing before the courts around the world to advocate on his clients’ behalf when a dispute required judicial consideration. In private practice, Sean has considerable experience advising clients in all aspects of employment law including wrongful dismissal claims, workplace harassment claims and investigations, and human rights. He has counseled countless clients with respect to the employment implications on mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions. Sean is always conscious of the fact that his clients do not want to be embroiled in a dispute and he works tirelessly to find a resolution as quickly as possible, but on the best possible terms. He has successfully represented clients, both individuals and corporations, in front of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario. In addition, he regularly appears in front of administrative boards, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), and professional disciplinary boards.
